The fifth season of Lucifer, an American television series, consists of sixteen episodes. Divided into two parts, the first part was uploaded on August 21, 20205 and the second will be from May 28, 2021 on the Netflix platform.


While Chloe must learn to live without Lucifer, Amenadiel, the new boss of Lux, is forced to go to hell to ask for her brother's help. Once back on Earth, Lucifer makes a surprising discovery, a familiar face that since his absence has pretended to be him and who seeks to steal and ruin his life. In addition, Lucifer discovers clues pointing to the appearance of his father on Earth. In the meantime, Lucifer's and Chloe's relationship has taken a turn for the worse. Chloe is then kidnapped and Lucifer, mad with rage, moves heaven and earth to find her


  • EP1: Really Sad Devil Guy

Lucifer is back in Hell and has fun watching a murdered mobster stuck in the time loop that tortures him but realizing he was killed in Los Angeles, he remembers his investigations with Chloe. On Earth, Chloe, now accompanied by Maze, searches for the killer. Amenadiel has taken over the reins of Lux and imposes new rules, while getting involved in his son's life.

  • EP2: Lucifer! Lucifer! Lucifer!

Upon learning that his brother Michel came to Earth to ruin his life and that he has the trust of their Father, Lucifer entrusts Hell to Amenadiel and returns to Los Angeles to help Chloe investigate the murder of a producer of series. Lucifer knows the victim and sees that his latest series is largely inspired by his own life.

  • EP3: ¡Diablo!

Lucifer seems to have returned to Los Angeles and joined the investigation into the murder of an astronaut in preparation for a private mission to Mars, but Chloe quickly notices that he has changed: he appears kind to Daniel, no longer does annoying allusions, no longer uses his power of persuasion and becomes able to lie.

  • EP4: It Never Ends Well for the Chicken

The team arrives in 1986 where their objective is to infiltrate the Pentagon to recover an unredacted file concerning Vandal Savage. The operation goes smoothly until Kendra loses control of her powers and goes into a rage similar to Sara's "bloodlust". Rip hopes the two women can find a way to control each other together as he begins to see what Savage is doing: he's in the Soviet Union working on a certain Svarog project with a talented young physicist, Valentina Vostok. They therefore leave for the USSR, but pursued by Chronos who pushes them to the forced landing.

  • EP5: Detective Amenadiel

Chloe asks Lucifer to give her time after discovering that she was a gift from God, she then asks Amenadiel for help in investigating the last moments of a nun. Lucifer lends a hand to Dan and Linda makes a painful confession to Maze.

  • EP6: BluBallz

After the electrocution on stage of a famous DJ, Chloe goes in search of the killer and discovers that he was not targeted but another DJ, her ex. Lucifer tries to overcome his jealousy. Charlie can't stop crying.

  • EP7: Our Mojo

Lucifer est très perturbé par un effet secondaire de son histoire d'amour avec Chloe : c'est désormais elle qui possède son pouvoir de séduction. Alors qu'ils cherchent à trouver leur équilibre, le duo pourchasse un meurtrier au mode opératoire très inhabituel. Ella commence à sortir avec Pete, un journaliste maladroit loin de ses anciens amants. Dan n'est pas venu travailler car il a vu le visage des enfers de Lucifer.

  • EP8: Spoiler Alert 

Lucifer survives the gunfire as he regained his invulnerability despite Chloe's presence. She decides to continue her investigation of the Whisper Killer, but as she goes to find out who the real killer is, she is kidnapped by a strange individual. Lucifer feeling guilty for neglecting Chloe in favor of his revenge against Dan, investigates with Ella to find the real killer. He also asks Maze for help, who remains very angry with him because of his mother. Amenadiel and Linda must, meanwhile, bring Charlie to the hospital.
