Chen Meiru becomes enmeshed in an epic tale of love and hate that spans 3700 years after his diary becomes an incantation that travels through time.
Rhydian Vaughan is a Taiwanese-British actor who has starred in films such as Monga, Girlfriend, Boyfriend, and Winds of September. Vaughan was born in Llanidloes, Wales, to a Taiwanese mother who is a performance artist and a British father who is a violinist, and is of Eurasian origin. In 2011, Vaughan received her diploma from the East 15 Acting Institution, a British performing arts school.
Vaughan and his two-year girlfriend, Taiwanese surfer Jessie Hong, welcomed a son in 2016. Soon after their son was born, the couple married.
Bu Guan Jin (born Wang Huan Huan) is a Chinese actress who graduated from the Central Academy of Drama in Wuhan, Hubei Province. She began learning Peking Opera at the Lake Beijing Theater at a young age with tutors Zhang Xianliang and Yu Pinyun. Bu happened to be rehearsing in the rehearsal hall when the crew of the movie "The Donkey Gets Water" was chosen for the role of the Chinese opera in her junior year. Bu became attached to the crew after the crew took a DV into the hall and encouraged everyone to record a self-introduction during lunchbreak. In 2016, she made her acting debut in the comedy film "Mr. Donkey."
