Juan Diego Botto
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Juan Diego Botto-Rota (born August 29, 1975, in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is an Argentine-Spanish actor. Botto's father disappeared during the Argentine Dirty War when Juan Diego was only two years old. With his mother and older sister María, also an actress, he moved to Madrid, Spain, where he currently resides. Botto started acting at the age of 5 in the film Juego de poder (Power Game). His role in the 1999 film Sobreviviré (I will survive), about a woman who falls in love with a man who, unknown to her, is homosexual, got him more national and international recognition. Botto has appeared on stage in Spain in several critically acclaimed plays. He also directed a play called Privilegio de ser perro (Privilege of Being a Dog), about the tough life immigrants are subjected to while trying to sneak into and live in a new country. Currently Botto lives in Madrid with his partner, the Spanish journalist and writer Olga Rodríguez. He is also active in politics, protesting the 2003 war in Iraq several times with fellow Spaniards and taking part in a support group for fellow children of the disappeared. Como dibujante, ha ganado los premios Mejor Serie de Animación en Animadrid 2001, Josep Toutain al Autor Revelación 2007 otorgado en el Salón Internacional del Cómic de Barcelona y el Premio Ivá 2009. Como actor, ha ganado en 2011 el Sant Jordi de interpretación ex-aequo con Antonio de la Torre, el premio Un Futuro de Cine de Cinema Jove, el Vicious Best Actor en el festival esloveno de Grossmann. I don't like driving (No me gusta conducir) is a Spanish comedy televisioncreated by Borja Cobeaga for the TNT pay network. It stars Juan Diego Botto , Lucía Caraballo , Leonor Watling , David Lorente, Carlos Areces and Javier Cámara . It is scheduled to be screened in the Barcelona and Madrid editions of Serializados Fest on October 19 and 25, 2022, respectively, to then premiere on TNT on November 25, 2022.
The series follows Pablo, a university professor fully immersed in his 40s, who is forced to get his driver's license overnight. He reluctantly, and he enrolls in the driving school, believing that he already knows everything and no one can teach him anything.
Once classes start, and he is placed under the orders of Lorenzo, his driving school teacher, he is forced to put aside his arrogant attitude, discovering that he still has a lot to learn, not only about driving techniques and road safety regulations, but about life in general. In this adventure, he also shares moments with Yolanda, one of his university students, who is now his partner in driving lessons.
