Naked Soldier is a 2012 Hong Kong action film starring Jennifer Tse and directed by Marco Mak. It's the third film in the "Naked" series, following Naked Killer (1992) and Naked Weapon (2002).
Naked Soldier depicts the narrative of Phoenix, who was stolen as a child by Madame Rose after her family was murdered, with the exception of Phoenix's father, Interpol agent CK Lung, who is still looking for his daughter. Under Madam Rose's directions, Phoenix became an assassin, and her target was her own father.
Born in Hong Kong on September 7, 1982, Patrick Tse and Deborah Lee are her parents. Nicholas Tse is her older brother. She is well known for her roles in Bruce Lee, My Brother (2010), in which she played Pearl Tso, Bruce Lee's love interest (as represented by Aarif Lee), and Naked Soldier (2012), in which she played the daughter of a police officer who was kidnapped and trained as an assassin. She played Yasodhar, Prince Siddhartha Gautama's wife, in Siddharta (2014), opposite Ray Lui (who plays Buddha) She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a bachelor's degree in psychology.
Sammo Hung (born Hung Kam Po on January 7, 1952) is a Hong Kong actor, martial artist, film producer, and director who has appeared in a number of martial arts films as well as Hong Kong action films. He has worked as a combat choreographer for Jackie Chan, King Hu, and John Woo, among others.
Hung was a prominent character in the 1980s Hong Kong New Wave movement, helping to revolutionize the martial arts genre and launching the vampire-like Jiang Shi genre. He is widely regarded with helping many of his fellow Hong Kongers get their start in the profession by casting them in his films or assigning them roles in the production crew.
